There will be no gaming performance difference even if you go with Home, get the cheapest, I have both Pro on desktop and Home on laptop and they work the very same for daily domestic use.

They both use the same kernel so gaming performance will be exactly the same.

Windows 7 Ultimate vs 10 Pro? xDDDDD

well, 10 pro gives you a little control over win 10 updates, from my understanding enterprise gives you even more control. As for 7 vs 10, microsoft is prepping to murder 7 remorselessly, plus it doesn't have dx12 support, so it's a better value to get 10, either deal with the data collection of google proportions from microsoft or learn how to do away with it

there's nothing illegal in owning a enterprise license

the allotment of licences type is not a matter of law

No you said users at home can't get a business Windows, I said legally because technically you can get it

But well I think I went way too deep

a better word would be legit, as in legitimately (in a way that conforms to the law or to rules / in accordance with established rules, principles, or standards)

For what is worth I would trust more the grammar of a bilingual than poorly educated native speaker(not your case :P), I don't really think either of you are wrong by the way, what matters is the interpretation no?

Difference? Will it affect gaming? WHICH SHOULD I BUY?!

No edition of Windows ever affects the performance of your programs or games.

Enterprise is not meant to be run as it you need Windows Server, and it is a volume licenses purchase.

Your choices are Home or Pro.

Pro gives you: Able to connect to your PC via Windows remote desktop from another PC (any version/edition), Hyper-V, BitLocker drive encryption (assuming you have compatible hardware). Then you have Group Policy and ability to join a domain for business environment. Here is a full comparison table: http://wincom.blob.core.windows.net/documents/Win10CompareTable_FY17.pdf

The price difference isn't much. So it comes down to: Do you care about Windows Remote Desktop or Hyper-V or BitLocker? If not, get Home.

A Windows 7 Ultimate key will work with Windows 10 Pro. So, if it's cheaper, or even if it's the same price, better to get the Windows 7 Ultimate key, IMO. Then your key will be both a Windows 7 Ultimate key, and a Windows 10 Pro key.

Also, some games perform better in Windows 7, while others perform better in Windows 10.

Group Policy also lets you un-fuck how updates work on Windows 10. I would go with Pro for that reason alone.
