Am i in a dream?

lewdicrous

My current bandwidth is 20mbps but for some reason i started getting download speeds in the high 40's.. is this normal?

I ran a test a few days ago (a few hours after rigging up an ethernet mess) an i only got speed in a 15-20 mbps range.. will this continue to happen?

of course i'm not complaining or anything

(i know that these speeds are mainly estimated and only occur when i'm not downloading anything, it just surprised me)

No. Contact your ISP and let them know that there's a glitch for them to fix.

two possibilities: 1. a glitch with your ISP's bandwidth control system, 2. your ISP has been doing upgrades and has increased the speed of your package

either way, since it's more than waht you are paying for, just enjoy it and don't mention it. If it case #1 and you call them, they will fix it. If it's case #2, then you should get a letter at some point or a message in your bill saying that they did upgrades.

Looking to buy GTX690, other multi-GPU cards, or single-slot graphics cards:

im on 4G so mine fluctuates quite a bit but theres no advertised speed. Only fiber in NZ advertises speed. Maybe the speed your ISP advertises is the minimum they suppply at any time?

Comcast over provisions our speeds by 20%. We pay for 75 and gt high 80s to 90 Mbps most of the time. Maybe you got an upgrade for free. WOOO. LOL.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

you learn something new everyday

we use AslanTel but i heard ComAvra is good too, i live in the mountains of Aslan so i prefer using a local company.

btw.. if anyone lives in Calavar then i'd recommend CalormenTel; Caldron inc. has very bad service there, and they don't have good customer support (or so i've heard)
