NVIDIA Installer failed?? Help

Hey guys i got a little bit of a problem here.When i'm updating my GPU (Asus Strix GTX 1060 6GB)i got this error:

 

Anybody knows how to solve it?

Agreed, the file likely became corrupted or did not finish downloading. Re- download, and Start the process over, and it should work next time.

Or your version of windows isn't up to date.

Common Troubleshooting Steps

  • If you are having issue installing the driver for GTX 1080/1070/1060 on Windows 10, make sure you are on the latest build 1607 (14393) a.k.a "Anniversary Update". If you are on the older build (e.g. 10240), you need to update your windows. Press Windows Key + R and type winver to check your build version.

I check my windows version and yes,mine is 1607(14393) so its up-to-date

Did you download a new copy of the driver?

System specs:

4790k

GTX 1050

16GB DDR3

Samsung evo SSD

a few HDD's

Might try the custom installation option, and do a clean install, it will remove the old drivers and then install the new ones.

I had this problem a week or so ago and nothing was working. But then they released this newer one here and I download it, and it worked just fine, was weird.
