Robots don't have a mind of their own, they don't "kill" anyone. This sounds like a sad accident

 

PS: Humans have been using robots for decades. Suddenly it became a trend to worry about them? This isn't the matrix. Airplanes constantly and consistently fail and people are killed. Yet we still use them.

These are factory robots, so artificial intelligence is DEFENENTILY highly unlikely, they should write these Stop correcting "accurately".  It's just shitty programming!

Yep, shitty programming and a lack of responsibility by whoever is meant to oversee the day to day operations. It's like someone leaving a nail on the floor and someone else stepping on it. Blame the nail? Damn, bad nail, it pierced the poor dude. Nails are taking over. Doom.

I use this kind of robots for years now in constructions we make. Never anything bad happened.

Robots learn from us....

All I see is machines made to kill. Just like tanks.

 

I agree that AI is something to be careful with, but any kind of AI currently is pretty limited to what it can learn and what it can do with it. An internet chatting bot is nothing to worry about. A robot that's built to complete certain tasks, even with the greatest AI technology (which, such robots as the one in the articles DON'T have), cannot go and grab arms and start murdering left and right. If more  people would understand the way technology is developed and functions, we wouldn't have those doomsday posts every few years. Robots aren't new tech. And robots designed to do 2-3 things precisely don't have the ability to "learn" anything. Just because it's a trend lately to bash on robots because humans are losing jobs, doesn't make it any different than what it was for decades.
