You need do reinstall of Windows on your SSD, just remember unplug your HHD when install windows and replug after install is finish when it boots into windows. I presume your SSD is new so after install windows you can copy files over to new SSD and just delete old windows files from HDD.

Why do you want to unplug the HDD?

During windows setup installation, just select the SSD as the install medium... I've done this many many times and not once have I had to unplug anything. Seems overly complicated to me. It would only be a problem really if the OP also had a hard drive with windows already installed on it, and was experiencing problems with booting the correct drive.

If you have HDD plugged, windows will install window files onto those drives which mean you need all your drives for window to boot up. It much better having window install onto on drive which allow you remove other drives without causing problem with your windows.

Windows doesn't like new motherboard installations.

I had an old Dell computer which I had to put a new motherboard in, and it would give me a boot error everytime I would start it up. My solution: reinstalling windows.
