You have any recommendations for a IPS 1440p 144Hz monitor?

Acer Predator XB271HU

165Hz refresh rate, 1440p, g sync, IPS ect. albeit it is expensive...

I guess googling "1440p 144Hz IPS" should yield you some results :P

Hi guys,

I'm currently rocking a Asus VG248QE that I absolutely love but just recently preordered my 1080ti and looking to upgrade to 1440p or 4K.

So I'm wondering: should I stick with my current monitor and is the upgrade not worth it?

Should I get an ultrawide or just a 16:9?

And if I should get an upgrade, any recommendations?

Questions I would love to get answered by people with experience :)

Thanks allot

The 1080Ti is a mighty powerful card. It probably can run 4K reasonably well.

However what are you going to be using the monitor(s) for? If you are doing video editing, an ultrawide monitor might serve you well due to the larger screen space. If you are doing gaming though, that 144Hz 1080p monitor should be well more than enough, unless you want to get a second monitor.

How about an IPS 1440p 144Hz monitor ? Best of both worlds as you get a resolution upgrade while still getting the higher refresh rate you've become accustom to where the 1080ti should be able to push 100fps+ in many of dem triple As as well :P

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

Sup. 1440p / 144+ Hz is pretty much a must have for you.

Or UHD 60 Hz.

Staying at Full HD makes no sense, because you will be in CPU Bottleneck so much, your GPU won't be able to use all its Performance. Even the Titan X is beeing bottlenecked by the low 1080p resolution.
