Sorry for the necro but I thought of this recently again and this news is still something I find funny. :P

well since this news we have had one suspect samsung device and another apple device do the same.  Maybe it's becoming more common.

Grammar and spelling is not indicative of intelligence/knowledge.  Not having the same opinion does not always mean lack of understanding.

Rule 43..

"4.3 Thread Necroing

Thread necroing consists of reviving a previously resolved, settled, or "dead" thread after a prolonged period of time by the OP with the intention of bumping the thread to the top of the board. Threads with an activity gap of 1 month or greater that are brought back to the front page is considered "thread necroing". A shorter duration may be considered when dealing with situations like previously resolved threads being reposted or simply for the purpose of bumping it to the front page. Build logs are exempt from this rule."

The fire department had to be called? Every employee is a mouth breathing Neanderthal and can't find or operate a fire extinguisher?

In Australia the insurance won't pay out unless the fire brigade is called.  It is to stop people setting fire to their own stuff to collect the insurance.
