Do you like my idea for a build?

Do you like my idea for a build? It would be my first build. Want a real computer that can game at 1080p 60fps on most games instead of my lowly iPad Air 2 and using my dads slow iMac to game.

really want USB c

Processor: Core i5 6400T

RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8gb

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B019HVND88/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_HXLSybQ7ESC05

thr motherboard maxes out at 2133 MHz for the 6400t and the ram is 2400 MHz. Could I underclock the ram because the actual 2133mhz version is more expensive than the one I have.

Storage: Seagate Firecuda 1tb sshd

https://www.amazon.com/Seagate-FireCuda-3-5-Inch-7200-RPM-ST2000DX002/dp/B01IEKG484/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1486878052&sr=1-1&keywords=Firecuda&th=1

PSU: EVGA Supernova g2 550

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0106RDI3W/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_9sLSybJA98WHR

i don't think I really need 550 watts. Are there any tier 1 modular psus that are maybe 400 because I want some room to expand in the future

Wifi/Bluetooth: some gigabyte card

two of these

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01G5I6O4Q/ref=twister_B01I2RWF3C?_encoding=UTF8&th=1

One of these. I wanted pwm and I heard magnetic levitation is pretty silent. Also thought I need a fan splitter. Correct me if I'm wrong. Don't wanna have the fans not reaching

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B46XKKQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_RtZSybXC66STA

Don't really need much more for 1080p at 60fps. Don't wanna spend $50 more for the 1050ti. Plus this one gets power thru the pcie slot.

Cooler: cooler master hyper 212 evo

Rgb: some brand that has a good rating, 16 colors, remote, 4 light modes, and connects thru molex. Has 2 1 ft light strip

https://www.amazon.com/Satechi-Remote-Control-Computer-ST-CLEDLS/dp/B00QAX8YPY/ref=sr_1_14?ie=UTF8&qid=1488151317&sr=8-14-spons&keywords=Cablemod+rgb&psc=1

I like this keyboard bc it has a phone stand, some control app that I can use with my phone, rgb, and has romer g switches which I like because they're quiet

Mouse: Logitech g303

I don't know about that 6400T as a CPU. Did you check out its clock frequency? 2.20 GHz is very low. If I were you I'd follow @21rkosta's advice and get the 6600k if you have a microcenter near you.

CPU LINK

Also if you follow that link it says you can save another $30 if you buy a compatible motherboard with it.... that should cover most of the price delta between a motherboard that supports overclocking and one that doesn't.

you seem to be spending more money in places that don't matter as much when it comes to performance. my advice would be to get a normal nzxt s340 not a 100 dollar one. i would also spend less on the motherboard and get a ssd boot drive plus a 1 terabyte hardrive instead of a sshd as the ssd plus hhd is much faster. take some of the money saved in those areas and get a i5 6500 instead of the 6400t.

he wanted RGB, the flat black cables of the CXM look better and he can clean up his case from the cables he doesn't use.

I usually pick S12II but it's not available at Amazon in sizes above 430W

idk

yes but what is the point? i mean i would rather have a pc with better hardware than one that has a slightly more expensive case. maybe there is something that the elite offers that he really wants but i don't see what the big difference is.

Use pcpartpicker because it allows us to see a nicely summarized part list without having to click half a dozen links. And because the site will provide basic compatibility checks.

i5-6500T is a very odd cpu choice for this sort of build.

RGB lighting does not make the system run faster, enlarge the screen, offer more storage. Put your money into things that will make the system better, not prettier.

Use the stock cooler.

Consider this build. All items from "approved" merchants. Faster cpu. Motherboard includes a/b/g/n/ac dual band WiFi and Bluetooth. Slightly better gpu. Larger and faster IPS monitor. 250GB SSD and 1TB HDD. All for around the same cost as OP build.
