But what are you doing with the PC?

Because unless you're a video editor or data analyst that needs to render or calculate stuff 24/7, you're wasting money and you can get better performance by going with some other CPUs.

 

More expensive does not always mean better. Try using a bit of logic and reasoning other than "i have the money so i buy the most expensive thing hurr durr"

do yourself a favor and wait to see how the 1800x performs

if it's about 6900k levels of performance, just buy the Ryzen chip

you're going to see very little gain with the 2 extra cores and 4 extra threads of the 6950x
