There are so many people asking this question so I just want a straw poll. To answer all the questions about buying Ryzen and Pre-Ordering or just "Waiting for Ryzen before doing a new build" Post comments below.

so I've been thinking of building a new PC, do you think Ryzen is worth waiting for?

Ok, I am pretty sure I have seen at least 200 posts about building a Ryzen PC or ANYTHING about Ryzen. Here is the final answer, do not pre buy a Ryzen CPU or Motherboard, we have NO IDEA how it will act AND WE WON'T have a idea until it's officially released, for all we know these CPUs absolutely suck once again. Or maybe they have redeemed themselves, just because we saw Linus's video of Ryzen doesn't mean that it's gonna be great. Please I ask of you, wait 10 more days until the release of Ryzen, and I promise all of us Linus Tech Forum Users will answer your questions and we will solve any issues that are ahead. We never let anyone down with builds online. And we appreciate that you wait 10 more days before making any more Ryzen posts. We don't have any answers yet about these CPUs. I please ask no more Ryzen posts about builds. Maybe some tech news or such is fine. But it's really annoying how almost every post throughout the day was about Ryzen builds. You guys should NOT pre buy a CPU or Motherboard without knowing how it acts and how it performs. Thank you very much and I absolutely appreciate you waiting on posting your build.

yeah, i also say wait. preordering anything is a bad idea. remember how bad the launch for the RX480 was?

 

same in the games market. don't preorder

 

i'm interested in ryzen, but waiting because switching to AM4 would be expensive, i'm still on socket 1150 with DDR3, would cost me $800+ to switch over
