  1. 1. All those thinking about doing a New Build should do the following.

    • Wait the literal 10 Days for Ryzen to come before choosing their build.

    • Build with Intel - Ryzen isn't going to be all that great.

    • Stop starting a thread where the inevitable answer will be "Wait for Ryzen" - Until at least Ryzen actually releases.

    • Uhh......already ordered it cause RYZEN IS GOING TO BE THE FREAKING MECHA - DOWN WITH BLUE UP WITH RED!

Sorry I got my motherboard nearly a year ago with my i3-6100 and my 6700k nearly 2 months ago.

I have a bit more patience than some people. My 6700k isn't magically going to lose performance. I'll wait for Cannonlake and Zen+, where things should begin to look spicy. If AMD can keep up a competition with Intel, I wouldn't doubt a 25-30% increase from now until 2019. Then, I'll get a new CPU. I plan on getting Vega, my 6700k will do just fine in 1440p144Hz gaming.
