New GPU installed. PC won't go past boot screen

CCouper05

My friend just got himself a new GPU from Nvidia and i've installed it for him with a new PSU. Now his motherboard is a bit old. It's the Gigabyte GA-H61M-S2PV and when the new GPU is in his PC it will not go past the Gigabyte boot screen but it will with his old GPU the Radeon 7750. His Old graphics card drivers have been uninstalled to make sure it's not them causing this but that doesn't seem to be the case. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Specs:

He intends to upgrade his CPU and Motherboard in the future but doesn't know when due to money

Windows 10

CPU Unknown Intel

Gigabyte GA-H61M-S2PV Motherboard

16GBs Kingston Hyper X

EVGA 500 Watt PSU

GTX 1060 3GB

Seagate 500GB HDD

What 500 watt PSU? Also check Task Manager or Control Panel for what CPU it is.
