EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Ti SuperClocked at 1046 MHz

Youbetternot

EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Ti SuperClocked at 1046 MHz. That's right 1046 MHz!

EVGA-GTX-780-Ti.jpg

Despite having only this blurry picture I decided to post about this card, because this is the first overclocked GTX 780 Ti that Im am aware of.

The fact that there is a SuperClocked model most likely means that EVGA also has more GTX 780 Ti cards. There is a chance that manufacturer will launch an ACX model as well, especially after this post on Instagram.

The EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Ti SuperClocked runs at 980 MHz, which is probably boost clock. That means it’s 52 MHz faster than other GTX 780 Ti that we’ve seen already. Of course also this card will use 3GB GDDR5 memory.

I like the color scheme of Noctua fans. Deal with it. Forget about the bad memories of the past.

Um I think it means base clock. The 290X has a base of 1GHz which would destroy the 780 and the 780ti

But it doesn't run at 1GHZ because of the temps.

PCper made a test and it goes down after 5min to 800-900mhz in every game.

The R9-290X,R9-290 aren't worth buying till they release a aftermarket cooler wich will take a while.

They have different architectures, you can't compare performance based on its clock speed.

Clock speed isn't everything. By your logic a 3 year old 560ti overclocked to 1GHz should beat the 780ti as well.

Wasn't meant to be an educated answer, it was meant to be a stupid analogy to point the fact that you're wrong.

Except the 290X throttles down to 720mhz after just 5 mins of gaming lol.

In case the moderators do not ban me as requested, this is a notice that I have left and am not coming back.

This card is a monster but not because the clock speed, I mean, most 780 and 780SC are above that (mine both are 1136 and 1162).

tbh Ruke I dont think the 290x is going to destroy the 780ti. In price/performance yes, it has the 780 beat and probably the 780ti but atm that remains to be seen. You also have to remember that the 290x has practically no overclocking headroom and the 780 & 780ti do. I mean my 670FTW is overclocked to 1300MHz and stable at under 70oC so a 780 & 780ti....

Personally I cant wait to see what the benchmarks are. Linus has hinted that they are coming soon in a tweet
