help to build the most compact AIO pc

Hi all,

Im planning to build my first PC  for my architecture/rendering projects, so i want it to be a powerful machine however i need it to be as compact as possible without turning into a little oven, my budegt is around £1700 but i prefer not to spend it all, anyway here is what I'm going with so far:

ASUS Z270 ITX or whatever Z270 ITX available right now in the UK 'cuz i need it SASP

7700k

32gb RAM

GTX 1080/1070 EVGA hybrid

120 to 280 AIO for the CPU

the case is hardest part but it come down to two:

Cougar QBX KAZE

http://cougargaming.com/products/cases/qbxkaze/

fractal define nano s

http://www.fractal-design.com/home/product/cases/define-series/define-nano-s-window

i like the size of the Cougar QBX KAZE  but ill be limited to only120mm AIO with the Hybrid in it but the fractal define nano s i can go up to 280mm radiator but its like twice the size of the Cougar case!!

so what do you guys think?

Definitely the Nano S that case is built for small form factor liquid cooling and yes it's bigger than the Cougar but it is 100% worth it.

Well... just remember that whatever CPU Cooler you use it must be small enough to not only fit in an ITX Case but to also dont take up all Fan slot cause you want the Hybrid GPU which come with it's own 120mm radiator/fan. For example should you mount it in the Nano S and you want to mount the GPU radiator up top the cooler must be something really small like those Linus show in his video recently, or you have to take out the fan on the front

Do you want the cpu and gpu watercooled?

Try using the PSU Tier List!

How to reset the bios/clear the cmos

I would recommend this https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/zcZN2R to stay on budget, a 1080 and 32GB of RAM are expensive and will blow your budget. The MSI hybrid is a bit better for small builds seeing as it has a blower whereas the EVGA hybrid has an open-air fan (from what i have seen, the MSI also has better thermals). I would also suggest you use both the CPU and GPU coolers in exhaust with the CPU cooler at the top and the GPU at the back with the two Noctua fans at the front for intake.

thats actually a good point, didnt event thought about it! so i got a qustion for you now since the ASUS Z270 ITX not out yet sadly i might buy the Asrock for now and cant really tell if it can power umm the 280mm radiator as well as the hybrid

I'm watching a review of the NZXT rn and I'm might go with M.2 instead of the SSD

Ok. Theres a ssd version of that same ssd but its no faster. Get a intel 500/600 series m.2 if you want speed.

http://pcpartpicker.com/product/DwgPxr/intel-600p-series-1tb-m2-2260-solid-state-drive-ssdpekkw010t7x1  or http://pcpartpicker.com/product/w34NnQ/intel-600p-series-512gb-m2-2280-solid-state-drive-ssdpekkw512g7x1 for smaller storage

you could go with a 960 evo/pro if you want too

The Hybrid take its power directly from the PSU and only a small part from the motherboard, an AIO CPU cooler shouldnt be a problem other than the size like I said before. Motherboard shouldnt have any problem cause they are not the main source to powering those anyway.
