What is your opinion on my prebuilt?

A few weeks ago I purchased a refurbished prebuilt machine. I am not a fan of prebuilts myself, but I decided to buy one because of its valuable deal.

The listing is not up on the market anymore. I did buy it from Ebay for about $500 dollars. The pc is an Acer Aspire ATC-710 model.

Specs:

Intel Core i7-6700

2TB Storage at 7,200 RPM

16GB DDR3 RAM

400W Power supply

Now, the parts I plan to add/replace are:

- Power Supply

- GPU

- SSD

The power supply I plan to get will be a 650W power supply. I would like suggestions on what to get, but it will need to be under $100.

GPU will either be a GTX 1050ti 4GB or a GTX 1060 6GB. I am told to not get PNY GPU's, but any recommendations would be tremendous.

I am very torn on SSDs, as I am still a novice on how to read specs on SSDs. I plan to get a 120, 240, or 250GB SSD.

Thanks!

Get a CoolerMaster 550watt PSU, a RX 470, and a Crucial MX series 240GB SSD, it will all fit in your budget.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!

get something like a 850 EVOssd from samsung, you can't go wrong with those. there are also some probably cheaper options as well, but i don't own them as i do with the 850EVO, i can say mine is very good, i have a 500GB model.

If I get a 550w PSU, wouldn't the RX 470 use a lot more power from the PC?

Do you care to suggest any cheaper options?

looks like a good deal, as Jamiec1130 suggest get a new psu, format the hard drive or throw it away. i suggest a rx480 (its has more power than a 1060) and a 240 gb ssd and a 1tb hdd.

RX 480 for the GPU, MX300 275GB for SSD and then snatch up a nice 500W-650W PSU. here is a list of good ones:

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

May I ask why I should get the RX 480 and not a 1060 or a 1050ti?

And thank you for the list!
