is it worth buying?

scrubbie

hi guys :) so I'm planning to buy a gaming PC and I've picked all the parts that I want/need for the build including the peripherals and just want to know if the price is cheaper or normal or overpriced. So here's my list:

-Inter core i7 7700K

-NZXT Kraken x62

-Asus ROG Strix X99

-GSKILL TridentZ Black 2x8GB DDR4

-Asus GTX1070 StriX OC 8GB DDR5

-FSP Hydro G 750W

-PHANTEKS ENTHOO EVOLV Glass

-Samsung 850 EVO 500GB

-WD 2TB Caviar Blue

-Asus Xonar DS-PCI

-Corsair SP120

-Microsoft Windows 10

-NZXT SENTRY 3

-Acer Predator x34a

-Razer Blackwidow x Tournament

-Razer Mamba Tournament Edition

-Razer Man0'War 7.1

All of these cost me $3700 and I'm from Malaysia. And also if theres any advice or a better recommendation for the parts I picked do let me know. peace.

The i7 7700K won't fit into a X99 board get a Z270 board.

I strongly suggest you use PCPartPicker to get some of the incompatibilities sorted out

and you build makes no sense in general

  • LGA1151 CPU on a X99 platform ...
  • FSP PSU?!

Instead of getting overpriced and shitty Razer stuff, get Corsair or Logitech if you want unified lighting or something else that won't break

Don't get such an expensive case, save that for a GTX 1080 for that ultrawide

Either get Z270 motherboard or i7 6800k CPU xD

But for gaming i7 7700k + Z270 will be better in most cases.

And if you want to save some money, get around 500W PSU, since you won't be even pulling 400W from the wall. Then again it good to have some headroom if you ever decide to SLI :)

Please don't cause any more confusion than there already is. Clearly you have no idea what you are talking about, a problem that <10sec on Google would have solved

Another way around would be the locked i7 7700 on a b250 board, it would be a cheaper route but by keeping the high end processor for gaming, I never advise people to go the 6600k/7600k way, as I never felt worth the trouble and cost of overclocking the i5 when the locked i7 will still be superior and costs are the same if not slightly cheaper if stock coolers suffices.

I dont have much of a choice for PSU in Malaysia. Theres only Xigmatek, FSP, silverstone, superflower, and coolermaster. I picked FSP just to see the estimated overall price. So out of the 5 brand which one is best ? :)
