Powerful, portable, laptop with i/o

BGA

Does a laptop like this even exist? I'm currently using an HP dv7tqe, which is basically exactly what I need except for 2 things: it has a fairly short battery life (2 hrs at absolute max), and it's super large (17.3 inch screen, 1.5 in thick, 7 lb).

So basically, i'm looking for a laptop with these requirements, from most to least important (so if you find one that fits most things but not the last few, that works too).

-Quad core processor (preferably i7)

-dedicated graphics (can be fairly pathetic dedicated graphics. 630m or higher is fine)

-Has actual I/O. No idea why nothing does these days. In order of most to least important: at least 2 video outs (that fit side by side! [this, not this]), ethernet, at least 3 type A usb 3 ports, thunderbolt could be nice

-Relatively small/light (as small as these types of laptops can get)

-at least 15" screen

-2 HDD bays, one must be sata, the other can be anything, as long as the computer comes with an empty sata hdd bay

-can be a gamer laptop, but minimal gamer branding is preferable

My use-case scenario is heavy multi-tasking and occasional video editing/gaming, while taking the laptop to school and back every day.

Hi,

Czech out ASUS's Zenbook Pro UX501... If you'd pick up a type C dongle with ethernet and HDMI you'd be good to go.

GPU is for occasional light gaming/editing, but also because i will usually have 2 external monitors connected. Bonus points if somebody finds a laptop with 3 video outs that work simultaneously :D

That's the issue... There's a bunch of good laptops like that out there, but i'd REALLY prefer not to carry around a dongle

Ah wait, nevermind! It's got at least 1 type a onboard! You say this supports dual video-out cause the type-c port can send video as well?

it looks like it does, but don't quote me on that. If yes you could just get a type C-HDMI cable.

Also it probably has a USB to ethernet adapter packed in.

ASUS product page

Best thing about it, it's 1500$ for a 2gig 960M and 1700$ for the 4gig version - not exactly cheap, but not way over the top either.

No problem man. If you're going to get it I hope it fits all your needs.
