What are the processors you were checking out and which motherboards? Usually, I would say go with processor, you can gain a lot by going with a higher processor but you don't gain much from an expensive motherboard, just some extras.

Don't say that haha, $240 between MoBo and CPU can be achieved, get like a 6100 ($90-$110) then a cheap MoBo is like $50-$80. I don't know about 3D Mark and AutoCAD and gaming on it, but it can be done.

Don't waste your money on a Z170 if you're getting a G4400.

I think you need to be realistic, unless items in India are like 80% cheaper than in the US, I don't think you can do all the stuff you want with the computer you are trying to build.

Sorry mate, the CPU that you're talking about is very weak for what you need. I'd suggest looking at second hand parts. That's your only chance of getting something good.

oh boy... So i guess, the best we can do is look at a DDR3 system. So that means an i5-4460 with an H81 motherboard may do the job

This is your best option, getting second hand and get a better computer. Your budget is very limiting.

The second hand market is bloody non existent. Even worse in madhya pradesh (where OP lives)... PEOPLE STILL USE PENTIUM 4 in india

But you stated you've only got 16000inr which is only $240. Also even if it was second hand, it'll cost more than $240 for a motherboard and CPU.
