Looking into the future, I'm wondering what is going to be worth the money in the future for video games. I currently have a single GTX 1080 in my build, and I want to know if when the time comes and the 1080 doesn't perform to my preferences would it be more worth it to get another 1080 or whatever is the next graphics card by then. What do you guys think? Bit of a dumb discussion but I'm bored.

Those answers are.... very confusing... I'm going to be moving to 144hz 1440p and using SLI GTX 1080ti's (if Nvidia would ever release the fucking things) for the grunt to run ultra at 1440p +144 hertz

Yours faithfully

My Goal is always to target the most powerful single Graphics card i can squeeze into my budget an think about going big on that by adding a second later, how ever regarding my latest build i went for two 760s cause they just outperformed any other option at the time in the titles i play at the res i play. Waiting for 1080Ti now though.

For me I personally would upgrade to another single card solution IF it can deliver the performance I need. Until then I would dial certain settings back so that I can acceptable framerates and frametimes. This question really depends on the game you play.

If I go with mu own general rule of all above 100 fps is already very nice, I am good with it if I can get nice details.

The object of life is not to be on the side of the majority, but to escape finding oneself in the ranks of the insane.

Couple things.

1. What if AMD take over for the next couple years? To early to tell...

2. I would just put my settings down
