1440p 24 inch monitor?

LyricalRain018

Is a 24 inch monitor too small for 1440p? Or does it look good due to that high pixels per inch count?

It is fine. It is actualy the sweet spot for pixel density at around 120PPI without need for using scaling.

So i should get a 24 inch 1440p monitor and not a 27 inch 1440p monitor?

Depends on your eye sight and how far you sit from the monitor.

I find 27" 1440p perfectly fine for me. (about 110PPI)

What screen are you using right now?

I find 24 inch to be the bare minimum in size. 27 inch 1440p is the sweet spot for me without having to use UI scaling. To each their own. I would recommend going into a store that would have some on display to see if that works for you.

When in doubt, re-format.

I sit at about 2 to 2 and a half feets from the screen.

Then I would suggest 27" but either should be fine if you got good eye sight. I sit with the same distance form the screen but my vision is not amazing so if I lay back then sometimes I have difficulty to read text.

1440p should be the standard for 22-25" imo. No required scalling if you're not too far away from your screen (and you shouldn't be far away with less than 27" monitors) and the ppi is really good, you really lose that above 25" for 1440p. I was never impressed with 27" 1440p monitors in terms of ppi, nothing better than my old 21" 1080p screen. Only problem is, no manufacturer cares about 1440p for 25" and less... meaning no 1440p 25" 144Hz IPS monitor AT ALL at the moment which is beyond ridiculous when you see how hard they try to force 4K down our throat when 1440p is not even a standard yet.
