They are both good at different things, read the Spec Sheet for yourself and then decied which one you want or like better.

Asus is 3440x1440 100hz with Gsync

Acer is 2560x1080 144hz with Gsync

 

which resolution can your GPU comfortably play at?

If you're talking about Predator X34 they're the same panel with Asus one so it's really which you prefer yourself. If you however mean Z35 then it has lower resolution which at that screen size does not look very good outside gaming. There are too few pixels / inch and the picture looks less crisp.

 

Edit: Please understand though that both Asus PG348Q and Acer Predator X34 are really demanding displays for your graphics card and I wouldn't pair either with anything less than GTX 1070. Still 1080 would be more preferred choice.
