Which type of monitor suggestion for reading and writing text?

3V1L7HUND3R

Hi everyone, my mum probably need a new monitor for her pc. She write a lot, navigate internet and send email. Everything which require reading and writing text on a monitor. No game, no 3d modeling and no video or photo editing. Are out there any kinds of monitor which are optimized for this purpose? to not stress eyes so much while typing, reading etc etc. Which kind of monitor and settings should I consider to buy a product which will give her the best relaxing view possible? Thank you

Thats alot of $$$

My mom is currently using this:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0148NNKTC/?tag=pcpapi-20

No complaints. Its light, cheap, and looks really good.

As for "Low Blue Light" Look at a program called "Flux" it does that, no need to spend the money on a limited monitor for it.

Computers r fun

i use flux, The reason i suggest this monitor is he said he wanted the best possible experience. It has an adjustable stand and good quality

  • Set the brightness down as low as comfortable
  • Use the color adjustment so the monitor gives off less blue
  • Use darker themes if you can.
  • Make sure the room is as bright, if not brighter than the monitor. Or use an LED strip or something.

The biggest point though is to lower the contrast of the display to the environment.

Also if you feel like burning money, you can buy Gunnar glasses or similar
