Hey there, So I'm new with PC building and I'm not very great at choosing parts but I need help in picking parts for gaming and editing videos...I have a budget of US$1000 and that includes PC, peripherals,monitor...

As I said, my aim to this build is a gaming and editing PC... I'll be playing mostly MOBA and FPS games such as Dota 2,CS:GO and Overwatch...I also plan on doing YouTube videos(gaming)...

Peripherals doesn't have to be expensive...a cheap mechanical feel like keyboard and a decent gaming mouse would do...I have my eyes on the Hyperx Cloud Stinger but any headset suggestions around that price range would be great...Are Windows 10 product key sold on website safe?

For monitor I'm looking for maybe a 23 or 24 inch...1080p would be fine...For the case I'm planning on getting either the S340 or 400C...

Pardon my English if it's horrible and the mix-up of my request...Hope to see some feedbacks and suggestions and I even hope that this is possible

yeah in a perfect world you would get an rx 480 but with his budget it would be hard to swing. yeah it is possible if he went really chaep on the mouse keyboard and headset but he honestly doesn't need an rx 480 for overwatch csgo and MOBAS. like i said he can change the build if he wants its just a starting point.

I went as close to the budget I can here's the build:

This is terrible for a video editing build. In addition, that's almost four times the cost of an OEM key on Kinguin, and that power supply is a piece of junk

Also, in what universe does that keyboard feel anything like a mechanical keyboard?

lol you really didn't like his build. tbh i don't trust kinguin oem keys so i wouldn't feel safe suggesting a kinguin key myself as i would never use one. but yeah the psu is bad. on the other hand it being bad for video editing is somewhat of a loaded statement as the budget really limits how well of a video editing build one can make. if you have a better suggestion for a build in his price range that includes all the requirements op has put out then i would suggest posting it.

I'm working on something that I know for certain is a lot better. Besides, there are dozens of users here who have bought OEM keys of Kinguin without any problems.

Or, you know, the RX 470 for half the increase. The only reason OP should get a 1050 Ti is if he plans on using Premiere, where weak NVidia cards walk all over stronger AMD cards.

Anyone could tell me the difference with all Z170 series motherboard? I plan on getting the i5 6600k but don't know which motherboard to choose...The cheaper would be better

The difference will be ports and slots you can use. If it has z170 chipset and LGA1151 you can be sure it will run your 6600k

Me at the Apple store: "So how fast is this little macbook?"

Apple employee: "Cheetah Fast. Lightning Fast. It's Really, really, fast."
