This has probably already been posted, if so let me know, 12 core processors anyone?.

Oh, and buy all the titans and connect it to the motherboard with PCIE extensions. Fill the damn thing up,

No need for that yet. And i'm never going to spend 3k on a CPU.

I'd be concerned about the motherboard VRM frying. Power consumption would increase very quickly with overclocking.

They are amazing but the Core i7-4930K is better as you can overclock it and doesn't need a mortage to own, OK the E5-2697 V2 has a lot more computational power but I'd take the 6 core i7.

12 cores not needed, so no, won't buy. If you're doing stuff that needs 12 cores, you're better off using Xeon anyway. We're talking workstation/server grade here. There aren't many applications that can utilize all 12 cores anyway!

but seriously, a 250w tdp and a £2000 price tag (assuming good yields aswell which i doubt)? I thought the nuclear pentium 4 days were behind us?

sounds like the phenom IV story, we'd buy it...if we had the cash.
