cant find 5ghz netowork

i have a dual band router and adapter, but i cant detect the 5 ghz on my pc. How i fix this?

I assume you've installed the drivers for the wireless card and those are up to date?

Yup. Just tried updating again and was told that they are already up to date.

Do other devices see the 5GHz network?

Do you have a separate SSID for 2.4 and 5GHz networks?

Other devices can connect to 5ghz.

The ssid's are the same though.

Tried changing the 5GHz channel below 100 or above it?

a 5GHz Router scans for weather stations etc on the 5GHz band, it sometimes takes as long as 10 minutes for it to start broadcasting.
