Hello LTT community :D,

May I disclose that I am a brand new member this morning and looking for some help and a place to stay.

Currently I am an XBOX one console gamer looking to make the big switch to PC this Febuary (Tax return) and I need some kind folks to help me with my first PC build.

I'm currently maxed out on console (wired fiber optic internet, Elite controller, Astro A40's, and Benq) and I feel as if upgrades will be few and far between going forward.

SO! here's the deal and let me be honest here my BUDGET is $1,200USD and I'm looking to get out of it these features,

.I like to Twitch stream so running a smooth stream is a must

.GAMING Id like to be able to run AAA titles on high 1080p settings 60 fps (don't care about 4K)

.I Do want to do a little YouTube and video editing but it is not my primary focus like the top 2.

.I could use a 2nd monitor Recommendation aswell but don't factor it in as part of my PC final $$$

I have been watching LTT on Youtube for a little bit now and been dabbling in this crazy brand new environment, it is scary but I feel like I can nail this with the right help.

I set the budget at 1,200USD because I feel like maybe that might be the sweet spot for what I am trying to get. Can you help me finally get away from console?

Thank you :) I am in USA btw

Also size and colors do not matter to me, would love to run WINDOWS 10

It's like $48 over that $1,200 mark. But I think this might be the best for you, it's similar to what I'm planning on doing for my build "Ursa" and I just ordered that motherboard that is in this list. The RX 480 should be enough for what you want but technically there are areas you could cut back and get a 1070 in there, but for 1080p I think it's probably not really necessary, you can as it won't hurt anything and it'll give you really good performance at 1080p. But again, I think the 480 is good enough. Since I'm taking it you don't have a windows key, I included one. There are cheaper places to get them though I question their legitimacy. And for a second monitor recommendation, perhaps if you can afford it maybe a something from the Dell Ultra sharp line, like the U2414H, U2515H, U2715H for content creation.

yes you will need windows if you dont already have a license. you can get that off reddit or G2A or similar. I7s are preferd because you can cram them in the budget and you have more cores to split the load over. you can play however long you want with this, untill you need to do something better with your life lol. you probably wont need to upgrade anything for maybe 4 years if you just want to play at 1080p

I'd probably go with a different case and keep the rest of that build. Got the same case for GF and in no way is it "mini", it's a massive cube with a non removable front dust filter. You have to take the entire panel off and run under your shower or sink to clean it.

yah 4K is not reachable maxed out for most people, the Elgoto HD60 should work fine, you can put it in the second PCI-e 16x slot and it should be good
