Would a Amazon redeem code for a PS4 game work if i dont live in the US?

I want to purchase ratchet and clank and i want to download the code, but i want to be sure that it works, because i never bought a ps4 game with this method before. I live in trinidad and tobago (the caribbean) and when i was about to buy the game and get the code, they warned me that i was outside the US

dont buy it if you are outside US. I am in asia pacific and we are both not in the US region. it wont work without headache

what if my locaton is set to a US adress?

Download codes are region account specific, so you'll need a US PSN account to be able to use the code if you purchase from Amazon US.

I'm from Trinidad and use Amazon bought codes for psplus and wallet funds, up till even yesterday.

 

Being from Trinidad you would have most likely used a US address/ZIP code anyways to set up your account so that is basically it yea.
