I'm asking for a portal desk plushie from my friend. Not tech related really, but that's about all I'll be getting I think.

Wishing leads to ambition and ambition leads to motivation and motivation leads to me building an illegal rocket ship in my backyard.

My genuine Christmas list is a 13.3" sub 15mm thick, sub 1.4KG with a minimum haswell i5 and 1080p display ultrabook...arthritis really doesn't like heavy stuff...even if it's only 1.1KG more...

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

Well.. My desktop, laptop, and phone are all good enough for now that I don't need to add to them, and any upgrades for them wouldn't be cheap enough for them to be much of a viable Christmas gift. (E.g. 512GB Samsung 850 Evo or 950 Pro M.2 SSD, 1x16GB DDR4 SO-DIMM, 4x8GB DDR3 DIMMs, 2x 24-25" IPS 1440p Monitors, etc..)

A good dashcam would be nice, or maybe a Samsung tablet with S-Pen.

you should get the Samsung Tab-A 9in. that one comes with an S-pen and I used it for school all the time!

Pretty sure I've got it on my amazon wishlist right now, and I used it at best buy too, it seems like a great tablet, I'm just not sure how much I'll use it :P

If you travel to different places that require you to use your phone or need to take notes of different kinds then I would highly recommend taking the leap and getting it. My high school started forcing us to use our phones for different online activities, causing my phone to be at 40% when I get to work. My dad also has a Samsung tablet that he uses for work, school and other things outside of that as well. (but I think mine is better than his because of the pen xD )

The thing with that is I've already got a 15.6" 2-in-1 laptop with amazing battery life (it'll last around 6-10 hours of moderate use), just no stylus for it.

Though I do see some situations where a smaller device, that's still larger than my phone would be nice.
