My genuine Christmas list is a 13.3" sub 15mm thick, sub 1.4KG with a minimum haswell i5 and 1080p display ultrabook...arthritis really doesn't like heavy stuff...even if it's only 1.1KG more...

you should get the Samsung Tab-A 9in. that one comes with an S-pen and I used it for school all the time!

Pretty sure I've got it on my amazon wishlist right now, and I used it at best buy too, it seems like a great tablet, I'm just not sure how much I'll use it

If you travel to different places that require you to use your phone or need to take notes of different kinds then I would highly recommend taking the leap and getting it. My high school started forcing us to use our phones for different online activities, causing my phone to be at 40% when I get to work. My dad also has a Samsung tablet that he uses for work, school and other things outside of that as well. (but I think mine is better than his because of the pen )

The thing with that is I've already got a 15.6" 2-in-1 laptop with amazing battery life (it'll last around 6-10 hours of moderate use), just no stylus for it.

Though I do see some situations where a smaller device, that's still larger than my phone would be nice.
