i7 3770 still any good for gaming?

i came across a 3770 kicking around in my closet and figured id put together a pc all i need is a mobo, would it get crushed trying to run modern AAA titles like bf1 or should it be alright, to clarify i know it would RUN but would it be playable with any cpu heavy titles. gpu would be an 39 380 only playing in 1080p

r9 380 would be the big bottleneck here.

 

So yes it's still very good :P

Yep, it's still plenty powerful. I have a 3770K currently sitting at stock clocks and it has no issues running BF1, MIrror's Edge: Catalyst and other recent titles.

absolutely, for 1080p its great :)

Personal build >  New-ish AMD main gaming setup
