Acer predator 21x vs PC

Hey everyone, 

I saw what a beast the 21x will be with 2 1080s and a curved screen and all that goodness, the price seemed a bit wonky, but im no expert, what do you guys think? Would a pc with the same specs cost this much? if it does, would you still buy the 21x? make sure you express your thought down below!

 

PS i know that we dont know the full specs yet, but later, if someone could make a video about it that would be pretty cool.

Looks like shit, and looks very heavy. I also think that a curved screen on a laptop is stupid. 

A desktop with the same specs will cost less, obviously since laptops (and prebuilt) come with a premium cost

Also.. I can only imagine how hot my lap will get if it were to use it. Just sounds like the most uncomfortable experience possible imo

I am sure it is obscenly priced. I could never get on the curved screen hype train though. For being one of a kind you know they are going to charge tons for it, especially with two 1080s. I wouldn't even expect it to be even under 3K for the price.

Do you even consider the 21X a laptop? I think lifting it up by its own will break my spine 10 times over. Definitely not gonna buy that ever.

Useless. Everything is soldered. If 1 of the 1080s break, you'll need to replace the entire motherboard. 

There are already 2x1080 laptops.
