Irresponsible?

Okay, I may sound like an ungrateful brat, but come on.

 

Currently 12, and pretty under-weight in my age group. Before I was an ungrateful brat, who didn't like eating. Now, I'm actually grateful for the food on my plate and would eat anything my parents give me. 

But come on. 

All I had for dinner, was a small bowl of:

Only. This. For dinner. 

The size was about as much as this picture right here. Pretty small right?

 

So please tell me, isn't this a bit irresponsible for a parent to feed their under-weight child this much quantity of food? 

Like I said, I may sound like an ungrateful brat, but come on.

so you cant prepare your own food, your parents have to prepare the food for you?

that is eccentric as fuck

to me that looks like prison food, you could save the meat and make a prison burrito only if you had Mr. Noodle's around though.

Your not under weight from not eating. Otherwise you would have health issues like lack of needed vitamins and such. I think you lack muscle which weighs more then fat.

No your underweight but probably lack muscle mass as well. If your healthy then it is probably genetics or you haven't started growing yet. I don't remember exactly what age I was, but my point is...people grow at different rates, and if you think you need to eat more food, then say so. Complaining on an Internet forum will get you nowhere.

I must say, for a 12 year old, your grammar is head and shoulders above a disturbing majority of the people I interact with online.

 

Anyway, I'd recommend you do a little research and learn how to cook simple meals. Maybe not even cooking, sandwiches are great.

If your parents are too concerned about 'healthy' food and you've got a rice cooker, egg over rice is dead simple to make and can be pretty good.

 

EDIT: Oh, and yeah, as Godlygamer says, you should ask your parents about it.

Are you hungry after you're done eating that? Are you sure your parents aren't just giving you food amounts that you'll actually consume in full? You should be talking to your parents about this if you believe it's a problem.

My parents ate first, while I was busy, then gave me the rest to me. which wasn't too much.

Well, grammar is important in life.

I don't want to make bad grammar a habit. Because in the end, it'll make me look stupid.

It can also affect my job interviews in the future because, well, who would hire someone who doesn't know even the basic structures of grammar?
