Unigine Valley Benchmark Scores Thread + SUPERPOSITION ***Over 1000 Submissions!***

So im not very happy with my 280 Crossfire setup, very buggy and very hot. Ive been thinking of getting either a 290X Lightning or a 970 (and SLI in the future). They are around the same price. 

Any suggestions?

 

GTX 770 SLI will outperform that. And it's cheap. 

And GTX 760 OC'd will preform about the same, or a little more.

Ive had 760's in SLI, scaled very good. Lightnings are suppose to OC very well, from what ive heard.

I have EVGA ones. They have no problem with power delivery and cooling. 

You will most likely be bottlenecked by the chip rather than the card if you go with EVGA or Lightning.

My 760's were EVGA SC ACX , had a score of 3507 in Heaven. Bottlenecked by the chip?

They get unstable and crash drivers at ~1.4GHz.

I gave them all I had. You can't go over 115% power delivery with the Default BIOS. And I don't need to risk bricking my card.

Then you won't see anything past 1.4Ghz then I've got 1.3V with a 300W TDP for my 770's and they see about 1410 for a overclock on them 24/7.

How did you get such a good score with the 7950, are you using the technology that uses the HD graphics plus your video card, your blowing my highly overclocked 7970 out of the water

its a good job you have an 800w psu you are going to need some cold weather as well.

This PSU was worth every penny when i got it about 4 years ago Its been pretty cool here lately, 40F average. I will turn the heat off and open a window with a fan LOL. The cooler on it looks pretty beast tho, but i might water cool it in a few months.

if you hit thermal limits on air then a bios mod and water should get it a hell of a lot higher. if its not a great core or has bad memory i wouldn't bother. you are better off running a good one on air then a crap one under water.

yes, but i'm not sure if i've seen 290X lightning cf  . FireFox has the 780 lightning in SLI
