Would you please look through my build?

Hello, buying my first build black friday. I have a pretty good idea of what i am getting, but i might have missed something. So i would appreciate it if you could take a minute or two to look at my build :)

Feel free to ask question about my choices or suggest other parts.

Edit: I have no clue about which thermal paste i should get, and i am not well versed in motherboards so i took what others have recommended.

Id go for the base 900 the base 800 is a bit tight on rad space on the top.

Edit: also just get a 120gb ssd for a OS drive and 1 1tb ssd for storage and just add as you need more storage.

What will you be doing with this rig? Also, the PSU is amazingly overkill, 650W is fine for 1080 SLI...

I was thinking the 750 Watt in case i want to overclock but the 850 watt is actually cheaper :)

As I was saying, 650W is enough to SLI 1080s... 650W is also way more than enough for a heavy overclock and SLI 1080s.

I'd recommend you to stick with air cooling in the silent base 800. Basically there's no space for a rad. I use it myself with a be quiet dark rock advanced c1, very good combo

I cannot find any 650 watt psu's with a platinium efficiency, can you? Electricity is very expensive where i live so it would be preferred.

Is the only difference between base 800 and 900 that the 900 is slightly larger? It is almost twice as expensive after all.

well, the 900 is fully modular basically, you can even swap the motherboard on the other side. AND it has tempered glass available

IF you can get a 850W power supply for cheaper, then why not buy it?

You know, the difference in your bill will be like.. less than a dollar. But if you insist: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/6p8H99/evga-power-supply-220p20650x1

And don't buy a Toshiba hard drive as they are known to fail in a year, get a WD Blue.

And where did you get that info?

Ive owned many toshiba computers over the years, and they have all failed in either a year or a year and a half. They suck, not even joking.

I have had a friend with 3 Toshiba HDDs. None of them have failed so far after a 3 year period of owning them. Sadly, HDD reliability is a very opinionated topic... Also, a Seagate Barracuda will be fine and should be cheaper.

But would hyperthreading not be beneficial in gaming?
