There's Gaming laptops with good relative battery life. But not really Crazy amazing.

you could just buy a gaming laptop, and disable all gaming features like the dedicated GPU when not gaming. that should win you atleast some battery life? :P

I thought most gaming laptops nowadays have pretty decent battery life, so long as you're not gaming on it. They are supposed to disable the dGPU when it is not in use to conserve power.

or is this just wishful thinking?

A AW laptop has a decent battery life, one of my friends own a Clevo P650RP6, he can get about 5 hours of battery life when he does word and a bit of web browsing.

Before you buy amp and dac.  My thoughts on the M50x  Ultimate Ears Reference monitor review I might have a thing for audio...

My main Headphones and IEMs:  K612 pro, HD 25 and Ultimate Ears Reference Monitor, HD 580 with HD 600 grills

DAC and AMP: RME ADI 2 DAC

Speakers: Genelec 8040, System Audio SA205

Receiver: Denon AVR-1612

Desktop: R7 1700, GTX 1080  RX 580 8GB and other stuff

Laptop: ThinkPad P50: i7 6820HQ, M2000M. ThinkPad T420s: i7 2640M, NVS 4200M

Longest battery life is AW15 with 6 hours on a non GSync Screen.

Second place is P650Rx series with 5-5.5 hours on MSHybrid mode

AW13 and GS43VR come behind at 4.5 hours give or take.
