CPU price drops on Black Friday?

Hey Everyone,

I'm new here so I'm not sure where I should put this, but I hope I am in the right place.

I am looking at upgrading my PC for Christmas and since Black Friday is rolling around, why not?

I am looking an 2 pieces of equipment: an i7 CPU and a corresponding motherboard. I was wondering do these components generally drop in price around and on Black Friday?

well that depends on whether they want to dump their stock. I find its the crap that normally sells slowly that goes on sale. Plus store staff hoard the good stuff for their mates. I imagine they will have a lot of $1 AMD FX CPUs

would be a better choice. If you're already on a tight budget, why then go with a overkill cpu but cut corners on the mobo

but yes, prices may drop and there will be some good deals, but eventually not on this specific board or cpu, nobody knows
