I was observing all of my classmates simply enter their gmail account and open up a presentation.

They went to internet explorer first of all.. who knows why, even most people at my school think chrome is better. I don't think they know why though :P

After everyone said to use chrome they quickly switched.

They typed "www.google.com" in the url and pressed the arrow instead of enter.

While writing their username they moved the  cursor to switch to password instead of tab.

It goes on...

Also I'd like to hear some useful shortcuts that make your browsing experience better :)

Some kid at my school still has Window '95 running on their home computer, if that counts.

We had to do a children's book for Civics & Government. We worked on the book in Powerpoint, She put her hand up to ask the teacher something. The teacher said that she should work on it from home. That's when she said, "We have Windows '95 on our home computer." My mouth dropped open in shock.

The number of hours saved by knowing the ins-and-outs of an operating system is astronomical - I do everything effectively five or six times faster than my mum, for example (including typing; my WPM is like 110 and hers is like 22)... And yet she needs to write hundreds of emails per day.

Imagine all the spare time.

So old school. I would laugh if you were using it with a web mail service.
