Price? And is it worth it ?

Now i know i had already asked questions about the whether the Macbook pro 15inches 2016 model is worth the buy. But then after they launched and announced the price, I cannot afford it at all. 
My question now is that is the 13 inches MacBook pro worth buying even though it is soo costly and will i be able to use graphic intensive apps ? 
And when will apple reduce the price of their 2016 models of MacBook pro ? (I feel it will be next year but will it still be worth getting one) Because till then other windows manufacturers will be updated with the latest intel 8gen processor and updated graphics(maybe 1080) and it would still be cheaper than the apple Macbooks.

It's a dual core with no dedicated gpu so hell no, it shouldn't be called "pro" as it has the same specs as some 300-500 dollar laptops

well if you are going to use gpu intensive apps i wont pick the macbook. and if the do reduce the price, it wont be major. the macbook is just overpriced for what it gives in my opinion

Why are you even getting a macbook? I used to like them but they have completely fallen off. They are expensive and there are much better options. The Razer blade pro that just came out costs as much as the 15 inch macbook and has WAY better specs and is 17inches which helps back up the Pro name to it. Apple is a joke now and it is cool they have USB type C but having only type C is stupid. People say how it is the greatest which it is pretty good. But why include 4 when you can include 1 or 2 and have all the same ports as you would with 4. 1 can support all you need on a laptop so include things so you don't need an adapter.

If you really want a MacBook Pro, Apple (and other companies) has done worse. The 13" limits you to Intel graphics, while the 15" gives you a slower, low-power RX 460. I'd personally get the MacBook Air, though, as its asking price is simply a lot more sensible.

 

If you want a gaming laptop, get a gaming laptop. I can't stress this enough.

i don't game so much.. i care more about the looks and power in the laptop. Thats why i like the razor blade stealth and XPS 15 lineup but both are not available in India. So was asking about 13inches MB Pro but yeah i dont think the intel grahpics will be that powerful

Precisely. And people's argument for getting one is that they like the software better than Windows. So you're going to settle for way less processing power (and recently awful I/O as well) and pay a ton more just for the software? No. Unless you absolutely MUST have MacOS, it's a terrible choice IMO.

I used to only consider buying an iPhone but now they aren't changing what needs to and are going backwards. Make the battery bigger! What do they do. For a while IPhones were their only good product, but I can't really say that anymore. But unfortunately people will always still buy their stuff.

I would go for the XPS 13 over the Blade, simply because it costs a bit less and I like the bigger screen. However neither will perform that well in GPU intensive applications, I'd get the 7559 for that.
