Great Budget PC Headset

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good gaming headset in the $50-75 range that can be used with a PC.

Hyperx cloud stinger. I haven't used it, but I have used it's big brother the hyper x cloud 2 and those were great. I have also heard good things about the stingers.

Any of the HyperX cloud line. You can save some money by getting the core set.. same headset fewer accessories. Linus reviewed then in Stuff That Doesn't Suck Episode 2.

And yes I have and use a HyperX cloud headset.

Please don't get a "gaming headset"

 

They have horrible sound quality, comfort and durability (my "gaming headphones" broke in 3 different places within 4 months) and they cannot be used anywhere other that your comp

I can do you one better, SADES Antenna are freaking amazing (and are $20 AU)

I have a pair of ATH M50X's and Bose QuietComfort 35's...neither of which I'd use for gaming.  For now I am using Galaxy S7 earbuds..not the best imo

Those are some of the best and most expensive headphones you can get (under 500$) 

Why do you think that using them is a bad idea?

 

BTW I currently use the Audio Technica ANC9 (basically a better sounding QC 25) and they are thousands of times better than my RAZER PRO USB (Porbs the worst percshing dissection i have made) and due to my current headphones superior sound quality and comfortably i use them for (semi) comp CSGO

Mostly I play stuff like Arma and Project Reality.  There is no mic on the M50x's and I don't like playing gamings with my QuietComforts..it just feels wrong lol

I hate headsets. But I do see the market for them. Their mic's aren't all the great. What actaully makes them great is that it is right in front of your mouth so you will get clear and uninterrupted volume unlike a big discrete mic like a Blue Yeti where you have to put it a feet away from you at least or it's kinda in the corner of your eye and its annoying or you have to turn the gain up and put it 2+ feet away but that will make it record everything, even the background and that's pretty annoying for viewers or other people that you're talking to.

I USED to have a Blue Yeti but then I sold it.  Had I forseen myself getting into PC gaming I woulda kept it

The cloud stingers have a more plastic build, slightly cheaper. You can detach the mic on the clouds, but it cannot be put out of the way and still attached which can actually be annoying. Whereas the mic on the stingers is non detachable but can be flipped up, also neat that when it is flipped up it mutes the mic as well. The clouds have slightly better sound quality with larger drivers. Also the micophone is better on clouds but perfectly servicable on the stinger.  Both are said to be very comfortable
