you cant put that gtx 950 in sli unless you want to use it as a physx card. Which is pointless considering there are only a few games that support it.

Yes but no point have a 1060 and a 950. Just sell the 950. Ram should work fine but may not be compatible with the ram you have atm if your wanting to use it with the 16gb u already have. The 500gb hdd will work no problem

Main system:

i7 6700k @4.8ghz 1.45v

ROG Maximus Hero VIII

Gigabyte G1 980ti Sli @1500 ghz

Samsung 950 pro 512gb

16gb G.Skill Ripjawz V @3400mhz

Corsair H115i 280mm AIO

Corsair 400c Case

Corsair RM1000i

Backup/Older/Toys:

Intel i3 6100 @4.6ghz 1.52v

Asrock B150M Pro4/Hyper

Intel 750 series 400gb

Radeon Rx 470 XFX

Thermaltake Water 3.0 360mm AIO

inWin 303 case

AMD Phenom II x4 940 @3.9ghz 1.65v

Gigabyte 780g mobo

Corsair H100 240mm AIO

Corsair Dominiator 8gb DDR2 @1066

Evga GTX 750ti FTW @1450mhz

Thermaltake Matrix case (modded)

you CANT sli a 950 and a 1060 , you can have both in the system, but its useless since the 950 will just sit there and eat energy

RyzenAir : AMD R5 3600 | AsRock AB350M Pro4 | 32gb Aegis DDR4 3000 | GTX 1070 FE | Fractal Design Node 804
RyzenITX : Ryzen 7 1700 | GA-AB350N-Gaming WIFI | 16gb DDR4 2666 | GTX 1060 | Cougar QBX

LOL, what specs is that computer running, since it has DDR4 it really shouldn't be poo and maybe only a couple things need upgrading inst3ead of a totally new system...

When in doubt, re-format.

there are pentiums that support it

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Spoiler

its CPU heavy and GPU light, an I5 and a more powerfull GPU is the prefered setup but this isnt bad

You don't have to sell it, but don't put it in the same system as a 1060 because it can olny stand to reduce performance and chew up more power.

When in doubt, re-format.
