Windows 10 Home fresh install

artificialRAGE

Hi everyone,

So heres the deal. I wanted to do a fresh install of Win 10 Hone x64 on my cheap Lenovo laptop. I downloaded the ISO with the windows media creation tool from Microsoft. I created a live USB with Rufus. The install was fine but heres the problem. It automatically installs Win 10 SIngle Language. My product key wont work with single language version. Any ideas?

I'm not entirely sure, but I was under the impression that laptops generally require specific media to reinstall Windows. Something from Lenovo in this case that would have all the drivers and a special code that can read the embedded Windows Activation Key on the motherboard.

Yes, it's 2871 as in the year 2871. I traveled all this way, back in time, just to help you. And you thought your mama lied when she said you were special-_-

I think you're right. Because the laptop originally came with Win 8.1 with Bing single language. So maybe the UEFI automatically selects single language regardless the installer file.
