Change out the SSD for a Samsung 850 EVO (really good drive, and pretty cheap on amazon)

And I'd say also get a better case.  The S340 is pretty barebones/budget, I'd personally invest in something better.

Please put it together using PCpartpicker, its what we use on the forum. Much easier for people to edit and provide feedback.

Looks mostly solid to me. Personally I don't like white, it attracts dirt like a magnet... but otherwise I'd agree that it's pretty EPIC.

Bro the evo 850 is expensive asf  in nz and the s340 is staying because its the best thing at the price and i aint going over my budget

Epic is a relative term. I would swap out the PSU for an EVGA G2 750 and the SSD for a Samsung Evo. Other then that looks good

I'd go for a 550w EVGA P2 for the PSU. You'll save some money and it's a better unit.

I'd also try for an MX300, or EVO as others have said. Are they quite a bit more? Do you have additional storage? 240gb runs out real fast.

Australia/NZ prices suck, our dollar is the same as Canada but computer gear costs so much more. the cheapest 1080 available  here is 800 USD and those are never in stock, you'll end up paying at least 900US if you're not lucky. (I do however completely agree with you, he shouldn't be spending $150 on a PSU)

OP, go with an Antec HCG series, you can pick up a decent 850/900 watt for less than 100 AUD

Corsair RM550x  would be a vastly better psu. 550W is more than sufficient for the build as the motherboard does not support SLI and a GeForce gpu is being used.

 

The pcpartpicker build does not include the gpu,  Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 8GB G1 Gaming Video Card

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

Get a larger SSD or HDD for mass storage, 250Gb isnt much. 750W is overkill, 500W is enough. Get a better PSU, the one you have isnt that great.

i would add a 1TB HDD for bulk storage but thats about it, not sure how good the PSU is seeing as i have never heard of it before

the prices are not in usd they are in nzd and also lunis did review the psu and said it was preaty good
