6600K VZ 6700K

SO I was wondering should i go with a 6600k and an 

Corsair Hydro H100i V2

OR A 6700k with a hyper 212x

The 6700k is way better then the 6600k even at stock clockspeed.

I would do the 6700k and a Cryorig H7, but it depends if you're trying to get a decent overclock or not. What are you doing? Gaming, rendering, word processing?

There are only 3 differences between the 2 CPUs:

1. Base clock speed, wich won't matter too much because you will overclock. 

2. Hyperthreading, which is the big one. the i7 has 8 thrwads. 

3. the i7 has some newer technologies. 

 

But for this... I'd go i7 and a cheap cooler and get the liquid cooler later. assuming you can use 8 threads, if not go i5.

I am going to use the rig for gaming and video rendering

Then I highly recommend skipping the 6700k and go for x99 platform w/ 6800k... if your budget has the room

6700K ofc this basicly shouldnt even be a question tbh.

Its cheaper and easier to upgrade your cooler in the future.

Then it would be to upgrade your cpu.

6700K with a Cryorig H7, as @cdsboy2000 said. Good combo

6700K with either a PURE ROCK or DARK ROCK. Get the best that you can afford for the CPU.

6700K with a cheaper cooler, as long as you don't OC it you don't need watercooling.
