What should I upgrade?

Hey guys, on Christmas I decided to get myself a new GPU (RX480 or GTX1060), but my other parts are starting to get really loud even tough I don't have enough money to buy a whole new computer.

My question would be how should I upgrade my PC better despite the GPU?

Current PC parts:

i7-2600

Intel DP67DE Mobo

500W Highlander PSU

120GB Intel SSD

1TB Seagate HDD

GTX560 GPU

8GB (2x4) Corsair Vengeance DDR3 RAM

Stock cpu cooler

Zalman case fan

As far as I tested most sound comes from GPU but i will change it, case fan and CPU fan seem to make fair bit of sound aswel altho I am not sure whether or not changing CPU fan and case fan would make my system quieter.

Please give me suggestions :)

If you want more silence, a better CPU cooler is probably the best way to go about it, that 560 is also quite loud, so once you get a new GPU that will also help :D

Logitech G502 RGB // Corsair K65 RGB (MX Red)

Mostly everything is fine get that gpu upgrade you wanted man. i'd go with 1060 since it's more power efficient on your 500w psu and amd cards are a little more hotter

GPU is pretty much always #1 priority, especially coming from a GTX560 lol.

But seriously, ever since i upgraded from 8 to 16gigs of ram i pretty much see ~10+gigs of usage in EVERY game.

I have no idea how i did that in the past tbh.

I'd say get 8 more gigs and a nice 1440p panel along with your 1060 6gig.

500W Highlander PSU

I had never heard of a Highlander PSU before, but apparently these are made by Tracer (another thing that I didn't know about until right now), and they're not very good.

Given the whole "there can be only one" thing, and the fact that there are lots of these crappy Highlander PSUs out there, I'd invest in something less supernatural.

Aerocool DS are the best fans you've never tried.

More ram is not needed.

Get a new CPU cooler from noctua or be quiet!

Maybe more/better case fans.

1.560's can be loud af

2.I never heard anything about the "Highlander" brand they're probably shit so i would invest in a 450w/550w Corsair CXM (Grey Unit)

3.A aftermarket cooler (Cryorig H7 is a great budget cooler)

4.More ram is not needed but 16 would help if you love multitasking but if 8 is already fast enough for you then there's no need to upgrade

Thank for all the suggestions guys! I was thinking to get Pure Rock by be! Quiet or this one Noctua Nh-l9i low-profile, not sure which is more worth. Also maybe you can suggest any good case fans that are quiet and wouldn't cost me a fortune?
