For many years I have been a huge Top Gear fan. Here in the US it isn't as popular as some other places in the world. The US attempted their own version which was absolutely dreadful. When Clarkson pulled a Clarkson and got sacked from TG, I was worried it was over forever. Needless to say, I was incredibly excited when they all signed a deal with Amazon. 

 

This is a new trailer that was released a couple of hours ago. I wanted to share it with you guys for anyone that has not already seen it, and see who else is as excited as I am for November 18th. I haven't yet gotten a Prime account, but I order so much from Amazon anyway, it is time I pulled the trigger on that. How does everyone else feel about it being on Amazon instead of other venues such as Netflix?

I think it will be miles better than top gear as Amazon not being the BBC don't have to really worry about censoring the three of them (mainly clarkson) as much as I know someone who was an assistant editor for a season of top gear and he said there where some really funny things they just had to cut out coz of the politics that the BBC are tangled in being a state funded television network. So with Amazon not having these limitations I think it will be the best season of topgear to date.

I have high hopes for the return of these 3, now i just hope it will be available in belgium

I noticed this as well. Some parts of the trailer, actually felt like a movie trailer rather than a TV show. I don't know how I feel about that, but I don't know that the three of them could make a bad TV show if they wanted to.

Amazon is really riding on this series. excellent cinematography and production value... no doubt they'll make a profit, and a huge flux in new Amazon prime members. to me i can't wait to watch it.. i kind of miss the trio

It's not more really. TG had amazing shots as well, but mind you in more recent years. From Perfect Road Trip, specials and their travels all together. But to be noted, Amazon doubled the budget BBC gave them, so I might be wrong in the end. 

I still have hard time believing they'll top Africa Special. The part when Toto starts playing, I think that's one of the best part I've ever seen on video, anywhere. But I really hope they will. 

The ability to google properly is a skill of its own.

I recorded all of the new episodes on DVR. I went to watch the first episode, made it through the first 3 minutes, turned it off, and deleted every bit of it. I hope this show dominates ratings and gives the BBC a huge middle finger.

I am but there's no amazon prime in Mexico so I don't know how I'm gonna watch it. I'm afraid in gonna have to torrent it.

The issue is that for some of us even if we are willing to spend money... can't watch it.

Does Amazon not offer the service, or is the internet restricted in the country you live in?

well, if you're in the french half of belgium you can get french amazon prime, other than that it's probably gonna be SOL.
