Posted October 5, 2016 Hey Forum, Does anyone know how much power two GTX 1080's use while gaming in SLI? I presently have a 650W power supply and my second 1080 is on its way. Do we think that will suffice? I think it will work but just on the edge and definitely not "Efficient" but if it work it works... Thanks Spoiler Corsair 400C- Intel i7 6700- Gigabyte Gaming 6- GTX 1080 Founders Ed. - Intel 530 120GB + 2xWD 1TB + Adata 610 256GB- 16GB 2400MHz G.Skill- Evga G2 650 PSU- Corsair H110- ASUS PB278Q- Dell u2412m- Logitech G710+ - Logitech g700 - Sennheiser PC350 SE/598se Is it just me or is Grammar slowly becoming extinct on LTT? However, if it were my system I'd use a 750W PSU. |PSU Tier List /80 Plus Efficiency| PSU stuff if you need it. Posted October 5, 2016 Both gpu's with use about 350w, so a 650 is more than enough.
Posted October 5, 2016 It uses 376W for a 1080SLI so a 650W PSU would be fine

Thanks 360W stock 400-420W OC (depends on silicon) As long as you don't have a CPU that takes much power (OC 6700K are fine, OC X99 or FX-8350 are not), you're fine on 650W to even OC the cards.
