Hi So i have found this on Gumtree ?

Is it real ? 

If so thats sorta sad :(

When was the last time he did a Titan X PC giveaway? The last giveaway I remember that he built the PC of is the Ultrawide Festival giveaway, which had two 980 Ti's in it.

Anyways, if he won it he can do what he want with it. Maybe he needs the money.

 

I remember about a year ago a winner of a giveaway on LTT sold the entire PC of it and some forum members were.. Not happy with it to say the least.

yup, it is. psu, ssd, case, etc matches the one in the picture.

Its sad, but its their decision. After Linus has given stuff away, he (or anyone else for that matter) doesn't have any right to say whether new owner should keep or sell. Thats life.

 

It would be different if there was some engineering samples involved. Selling those is against manufacturers ToS. I don't know if there's much more to do than flagging product as misuse of service (of Gumtree, Craigslist etc.).

I couldn’t see anyone parting this rig out unless they rely need the cash, that said it's sad to see this, I just hope he didn't get it for the sake of just selling off the parts.
