Posted September 25, 2016 So right now I'm waiting on vega 20 architecture so I will replace my old GTX 650 TI with a GTX 1050 when it gets released. I will buy a new PC with Navi architecture or new Nvidia Architecture when I plan on having a new PC in 2018-2019. My concern right now is that will it fit my current motherboard properly and be compatible with my current hardware? Current hardware: CPU:i5-4670 GPU:GTX 650 TI Motherboard:Gigabyte G1.Sniper B5 PSU:450W random PSU Strike the shepherd and the sheep will scatter. Posted September 25, 2016 (edited) Yes, the 1050 will be compatible. BUT BEFORE ANYTHING CHANGE THE POWER SUPPLY IF YOU SAY IT'S A RANDOM ONE. And, by 2018, I think we will have PCI-E 4 by then if the leaks and things are to be believed. Edited September 25, 2016 by g12601
 Posted September 25, 2016 I see no reason why not. but as other people have send in one way or another: get a better power supply(not necessarily high Wattage, just more reputable than Random)
 Posted September 25, 2016 I think you might be alright with that power supply. The max watt of the card is 75w as far as the info released so fare. If you can get the make and model of the PSU it help us determine if you need a new one ?
 Posted September 25, 2016 I would personally get a new PSU when you get your new video card just to be on the safe side. Magical Pineapples
