Bring Science to LTT

Why you may ask? Because if we had a science forum, we could be A-mei-Zing! No but seriously, a science forum would be great for discussing ideas for projects/ experiments.

Or the general subforum?

If it doesn't fit in one of those three, then it shouldn't be on the forum.

We already have enough subforums so you can just post your experiments and science in "general"

This is technology. Everything is science. Maybe some magic, but mostly science.

You could just make an off topic thread however I think that has been tried before with little success, but unless the science in question is tech related it's not going to be a subforum

Science is an extremely broad term. To be honest, I'd consider it too unrelated from the purpose of the forum to justify its own subforum.

I'd just say get on a forum dedicated to science. You don't use a supercomputer to run Battlefield do you?

I would agree with the idea, but with the background of this forum and the type of community we have sometimes(people from twitch chat, 4chan and what not) I doubt you could have proper discussions here about the genetic modification of mice in order to be more resistent to antibiotic's or a discussion about the new book "Now, Physics of time" by richard muller.

I assume you mean part of science which isn't tech related? Science is very broad term. I already see that people responding here think it as physics, chemistry, mathematic and IT. Which is only tip of the iceberg in that field. This forum is not really place for deeper discussion on those topics. So lets keep it tech related for those who might be interested.
