Well worth it, so much better then my old HD 6850, but that card did serve me well.

CPU- I7 7700K @ 4.4Ghz, RAM- 32 Gig Hyper X @ 2800 mhz , GPU - GTX 1080ti Strix 11gb , MOBO- Asrock Fatality Z270 , SSD :Kingston Hyper X SSD Fury and Samsung 500gig

Consoles were first made as a poor mans pc, fun fact of the day :p

Case: NZXT Phantom PSU: EVGA G2 650w Motherboard: Asus Z97-Pro (Wifi-AC) CPU: 4690K @4.2ghz/1.2V Cooler: Noctua NH-D15 Ram: Kingston HyperX FURY 16GB 1866mhz GPU: Gigabyte G1 GTX970 Storage: (2x) WD Caviar Blue 1TB, Crucial MX100 256GB SSD, Samsung 840 SSD Wifi: TP Link WDN4800

Here we go guys, Its almost complete, Cable managment has been harder because of the removal of the hard drive bays but i worked around it the best i could, almost have all holes at the back filled also.

Great job on the video card upgrade. Same processor and situation, I can only afford a 7950 so I just I trump you on the "poor" part.

Thanks man! only a little bit more to do. bit devestated at how much the 780 dominates the 7970 tho but it was to be expected i suppose.

looks like an older antec case, am I right? and looking good for a "poor" mans Rig haha

Yeh is Antec case scored it from work was laying in a basment full of pentium 3's and 4s, Put the vents and stuff in my self from another old tower that was laying around. I liek to recycle :P

 

Yeh title is poor mans PC but been buying the parts here and there and working my butt off to get them, the 7970 was the biggest investment but totaly worth it.

My G35s finaly broke, bought some afterglows because they were cheap, And they glow blue matching my Razor Deathadder and Razor Anansi, and truthfuly they have pretty decent sound quality for what i payed.

Got me a Noctua fan, system is so much more silent now, my rear 120 mm was really old and didnt make friendly sounds, Really happy with this noctua so quite :D thank you Linus for letting me know about these fans.
