Getting rid of Malware using Linux

FireFox_13

Hey, I think my antivirus isn't powerful enough to remove all the Malware from my system. I want it to do it through Linux. Any tips on how to do it ? Thank you !!

is it in the boot sector? Cuz I don't think Linux will solve that.

i5 6600k and GTX 1070 but I play 1600-900. 1440p BABY!

Still, don't put too much faith in my buying decisions. xD

i've removed viruses manually using windows. Just the usual killing virus from memory, search through the registry and deleting entries and searching through files.

Linux isnt virus proof as there are viruses for linux such as finspy.

@wrathoftheturkey the OP is using windows defender, but the OS looks like windows 7 (unless I'm getting that wrong and windows 8.1 is the OS in use, but I think windows defender in that uses the same icon as the windows 10 version of windows defender does) with a windows 10 skin meaning that the windows defender in question isn't the windows defender that is a rebrand of MSE.

One thing that should be done is shutting down windows restore and removing all restore points since it is a favourite hiding place for malware and other nasties.
